Hello, everyone. Again, it’s a dress pattern for toddlers. Since I released Crochet baby girl dress pattern in last year I had many requests for toddler size. Hope you all love and enjoy this toddler dress pattern.

Finished size toddler
- Chest = 21”
- Armhole depth = 4.5”
- Length of the dress from shoulder to bottom = 15”
Materials (I used)
- Sport yarn (13 WPI / approx: 525-550 yards total)
I used

- (MC) 2 skeins Natural Silk Cotton Baby Sweater Soft Yarn Knitting Hot 50g / approx.: 325 yards. Color: White Pink
- (CA) 1 skein of Natural Silk Cotton Baby Sweater Soft Yarn Knitting Hot 50g / approx.: 200 yards. Color: Watermelon Red
- 4mm crochet hook
- tapestry needle and thread to sew buttons
Gauge
- 20 dc x 8 rows = 4” with 4mm crochet hook.
Abbreviations
- ch(s) = chain(s)
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
- st(s) = stitch(s)
- sl st = slip stitch
- ch-sp = chain – space
- sk = skip
- fpdc = front post double crochet
- beg = beginning
- MC = Main Color
- CA = Color A
- RS = Right Side
- WS = Wrong Side
- [] = work instructions within brackets as many times as directed
- *to* = repeat * to * the instructions.
Special stitch:
- corner st-(dc) = (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in indicated st.
- corner st-(hdc) = (2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc) in indicated st.
Note: beg ch(s) does not count as st. Add more rows to the skirt part if you like. Crochet ch 2 instead of ch 1 between 2 hdc sts in rows 3,4,5,9,10,11,12 and 13, if you feel those rows getting tight.
Crochet Toddler Size Girl Dress Pattern
ch 63 with (CA).
Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each of next 6 sts, corner st-(dc) in next st (see special stitch), [dc in each of next 14 sts, corner st-(dc) in next st] 3 times, dc in next 7 sts, ch 2, turn. (72 dc sts total with sts of corner sts)
Row 2: dc in first st, dc in each of next 8 sts, corner st-(dc) in ch-sp, [dc in each of next 18 sts, corner st-(dc) in ch-sp] 3 times, dc in next 9 sts, turn. (88 dc sts total with sts of corner sts)
Row 3: Join (MC) with ch 1, hdc in first st, [ch 1, sk 1 st, hdc in next 2 sts] 3 times, ch 1, corner st-(hdc) in next ch-sp, [[ch 1, sk 1 st, hdc in next 2 sts] 7 times, ch 1, corner st-(hdc) in next ch-sp] 3 times, [ch 1, sk 1 st, hdc in next 2 sts] 3 times, ch 1, sk next st and hdc in last st, ch 1, turn. (72 hdc sts total with sts of corner sts)

Row 15: ch 3, *(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next ch-sp, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-sp, ch 1* repeat *to* around, sl st to beg ch 3 top. (18 (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) sts)
Row 16: *ch 3, sl st to ch-sp* repeat *to* around, last ch 3 sl st to beg ch 3. (71 (ch 3) spaces)
Row 17: ch 3, *sk next ch-sp, (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next ch-sp, ch 1, sk next ch-sp and fpdc in next dc one row below (photos below), ch 1* repeat to around, sl st to beg ch 3 top. (18 (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) sts)
Row 18-20: repeat rows 16 and 17 alternatively.
Row 21-22: repeat rows 17 and 16 with (CA).
Row 23-28: repeat rows 17 and 16 with (MC).
Row 29-30: repeat rows 17 and 16 with (CA).
Row 31: with (MC) ch 3, *sk next ch-sp, (2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next ch-sp, ch 1, sk next ch-sp and fpdc in next dc one row below, ch 1* repeat to around, sl st to beg ch 3 top.
Row 32: ch 3, sl st to next ch-sp, *ch 4, sl st to next ch-sp, (ch 3, sl st to next ch-sp) 3 times* repeat *to* around, last ch 3 sl st to beg ch 3. (71 (ch-spaces)
Row 33-36: repeat rows 31 and 32 with the same color.
Row 37-38: repeat rows 31 and 32 with (CA)
Row 39-44: repeat rows 31 and 32 with (MC).
Row 45: repeat row 31 with (CA)
Edging around the dress bottom.
ch 1, 1 sc in each sts and ch-sp(s) around, sl st to first sc. Fasten off and weave the ends.
Edging around the neck and open side
(MC) join yarn with ch 1 at bottom of the back opening (RS), crochet sc sts evenly around open side and neck. Fasten off and weave the ends (photo below).
Crochet 13-15 chains with (MC) and sew it on one side of the back opening side like button loop. (make 2). Sew the button other side of the back opening (photo 4 and 5).
Edging around the armhole
(photos below) Join (MC) yarn at ch-sp of corner st in row 10, ch 1, sc in same sp (photo 1), *ch 2, sc in next sp* repeat *to* around the armhole and sl st to first sc. Fasten off and weave the ends.
