I came with a quick crochet project for this week. After crocheting Sugar candy stripes baby dress, I thought It’s better to start this week with a quick project. How about making coasters again..

Skill Level easy
Finished size 4.5” diameter
Materials I used (for one coaster)
- sport weight cotton blended yarn (13 WPI) approx: 30 yards total
- Purple color 16 – 17 yards
- White color 6 – 7 yards
- Magenta color 5 – 6 for one coaster
- 4 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle for weave ends.
Gauge 21 dc, 7.5 rows = 4” with 4 crochet hook.
Abbreviations
- ch = chain
- hdc = half double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- sk = skip
- beg = beginning
- * to ; = work instructions within brackets as many times as directed.
Pretty Purple Coaster Pattern
Make a magic ring with purple color
Round 1: ch 2, 12 hdc into the magic ring, sl st to the first hdc. (12 hdc)
Round 2: ch 2, 2 hdc in each st around, sl st to the first hdc. (24 hdc)
Round 3: With white color ch 2, 2 hdc in same st, *hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st; repeat * to end, sl st to the first hdc. (36 hdc)
Round 4: With purple color ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in next st, *2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 2 sts; repeat * to end, sl st to the first hdc. (48 hdc)
Round 5: With magenta color *ch 2, hdc in same st, ch 2, sk next st, sl st to next; repeat * to end, last ch 2 sl st to the same st in the previous round that starts with this round. (24 hdc)
Round 6: With white color ch 2, hdc in ch-2 space after hdc, ch 2, sk next ch 2 and hdc, sl st to next ch-2 space after hdc, *ch 2, hdc in same ch-2 space, ch 2, sk next ch 2 and hdc, sl st to next ch-2 space after hdc; repeat * to end, last ch 2 sl st to the same ch-2 space in previous round that start with this round. (24 hdc)
Round 7 -8: repeat round 6 with purple color. Fasten off and weave the end.

That’s the problem love the patterns but if you don’t have a Ravelry account because they’ve got it closed right now and readers cant open an account we cant download the patterns.
