Peppermint Houndstooth Scarf Free Crochet Pattern
Peppermint Houndstooth Scarf Pattern by Crochet For You.
I love the Houndstooth stitch and the peppermint colors. 🙂 In this time of the year, I think it’s perfect together. So I twisted Peppermint and Houndstooth. What do you think? This scarf looks fun and cheerful all together and especially with the pom pom.

Make a Set of Crochet Beanie & Scarf
The Peppermint Houndstooth hat uses the same great houndstooth stitch and the peppermint colors red, white as the Peppermint Houndstooth Scarf.
Peppermint Houndstooth Crochet Hat
Skill level:Â Easy
Finished size: 7” width and 64” long with the pom-pom
Materials:
#4 – Medium / Worsted weight yarns (Approx: 420 yards total)

- (C2) white color (Approx: 210 yards total)
- J-10, 6mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle for weaving ends.
- 2 pom-pom
Gauge: 12 sc x 13 rows = 4” with -10, 6mm crochet hook.
Abbreviations (US Term)
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch

- st = stitch
- *to = repeat * to the instructions.
- beg = beginning
- RS = Right Side

Notes:
- Do not cut the yarn when changing colors. Because of the weaving ends is lots of work, carry the unused color along as you work each row. Work the stitch over the unused color. (see the photo collage below)

This scarf is really cute and the instructions made the houndstooth much easier to understand. Gotta love it! It’s in my Ravelry Cue now as well as a couple of your other patterns.

I used the Houndstooth pattern a couple of years ago in black and ivory. It turned out just gorgeous, however working with black yarn was a real bear. So glad to see the cheery peppermint, red and white combo. I think I will do this as a Christmas present. Thanks for presenting
