Materials
- #2-Fine / sport weight yarn in 3 colors (brown, olive green and white). (Approx: 15 yards for each color)
- G-6, 4mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle for weaving ends.
Gauge: Gauge is not very important for this pattern.
Abbreviations
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- sc = single crochet
- tr = treble crochet
- ch-sp = chain – space
- sk = skip
- st(s) = stitch(s)
- beg = beginning
- *to ; = repeat * to the instructions.
Crochet Dandelion Flower
With brown color, make a magic ring
Round 1: ch 1, 5 sc into the ring, sl st to the first st. (5 sts)
Round 2: join olive green color yarn in first st, ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, sl st to the first st. (10 sts)
Round 3: join white color yarn in first st, ch 5 (count as tr and ch), tr in same st, *ch 1, (tr, ch 1, tr) in next st; repeat * to around, sl st to beg ch 4 top.
Round 4: ch 3, sl st to the same st, ch 1,*sk next ch-sp, sl st to the next tr, ch 3, sl st to the same st, ch 1; repeat * to around. Fasten off and weave the end.
