Happy Wednesday! Here is the fifth and the last pattern of Easy & Lace Crochet Pattern Series. Every Wednesday of this month including today I shared easy and lace crochet patterns. These all patterns come with open lace stitches and easy to crochet.

I’m so excited to share this beautiful shawl pattern with you all. And I want to thank Ice Yarns for providing me this gorgeous yarn for this project.

This crochet Shell & Lace Shawl has a beautiful and nice texture and only use shell and chains to create open lace stitch. This shawl pattern is perfect for all seasons with any color combo.

About the yarn
This was my first time working with Ice Yarn Cakes Cotton Fine, Self- striping, #2 Fine/Sport/Baby, 50% Cotton, 50% Acrylic. I loved to see how colors mixed up with another color while the work in progress. Check out more colorways of this yarn on Ice Yarn Website. This cakes yarn is great for making shawl, wrap and more. One cake of Cotton Fine yarn enough to make a 59″ x 32″ finished size shawl.

• 1 Cake of Ice Yarn Cakes Cotton Fine (Salmon, Light pink, Lilac) – #2-Fine weight: sport, baby / 50% Cotton, 50% Acrylic / 656 total yards. 
• 3mm crochet hook

• beg = beginning
• * to ; = work instructions within brackets as many times as directed
• [] = work instructions within brackets as many times as directed
• Special stitch: shell = (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in indicated st or chain space.

Crochet Shell & Lace Shawl Pattern

Row 1: ch 4, 2 dc in 4th ch from the hook, turn. 

Row 2: ch 6, 2 dc in first st, dc in beg ch 3 top, turn. 

Row 3: ch 3, (2 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in ch-6 sp, turn.

Row 4: ch 3, (1 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in ch-3 space, dc in beg ch 3 top, turn. 

Row 5: ch 3, shell (see special stitch) in next ch-3 space, dc in beg ch 3 top, turn. 

Row 6: ch 6, 2 dc in first st, shell in next ch-3 space of shell, dc in beg ch 3 top, turn. 

Row 7: ch 3, shell in next ch-3 space of shell, (2 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in beg ch-6 sp, turn.

Row 8: ch 3, (1 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in first ch-3 space, shell in next ch-3 space of shell, dc in beg ch 3 top, turn. 

Row 9: ch 3, [shell in next ch-3 space of shell] 2 times, dc in beg ch 3 top, turn. 

Row 10: ch 6, 2 dc in first st, ch 2, [shell in next ch-3 space of shell] 2 times, dc in beg ch 3 top, turn.
