Pattern details
This crochet beanie worked with a special stitch Celtic Weave in stripes. In this crochet hat pattern Celtic stripes work in rounds with front post treble crochet. The two rounds of Celtic weave make one stripe. By changing color after each two rounds and single crochet round, you can make Celtic stripes.
This cozy beanie works from the bottom up with the ribbed brim. And two short sides join together to make a band first. The body of the hat works on the long side of the ribbed band using Celtic stripes in the round.
This pattern is available in teen size, but can be adjusted to any size, see the note section. I used Ice Yarns Favorite in Fall colors, but you can use any worsted weight yarns in any color combo.
Hint: you can make beanies for upcoming festive season in red, green and white
