Cute Little Baby Booties – free crochet pattern
Cute Little Baby Booties Pattern by Crochet For You.
Cute little baby booties are my first written pattern I shared on my first blog “Crochet For You” two years ago.
As it was my first free pattern I ever created, I found some errors in the pattern. So I updated the pattern again with a photo tutorial. And of course, you can grab this bootie pattern from my new blog here as well.

- (CA) Small amount of purple
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
Finished size 3.5” from toe to heel
Gauge 22 dc x 8.5 rows = 4” with 3.5mm crochet hook
Abbreviations
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- st = stitch
- yo = yarn over
- (MC) = Main Color
- (CA) = Color A
- (RS) = Right Side
- (WS) = Wrong Side
- [] work instructions within brackets as many times as directed
- dc2tog = [Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull back through first 2 loops on hook] 2 times, yo, pull back through all loops on hook.
Note If you think your dc sts seems too large to make these booties, you can convert all dc sts to hdc sts. First, you have to crochet 2 motifs and keep it aside. The booties begin from the sole and the motif attached to the bootie at row 4 and 5 and there are 2 short rows for making an instep. Finally, dc sts around the bootie with 2 straps.
