Crochet Oval Table Mat with Jute Hemp Free Pattern
Crochet Oval Table Mat with Jute Hemp Pattern by Crochet For You.
Do you remember Jute Hemp Crochet Coasters I made? It was my first attempt to crochet with jute hemp. And was a bit challenging, new experience and also had a different feel to the hands because jute hemp cord is rougher than yarn. 😀 Well, as always, I had some jute hemp left for another small crochet project.
I asked your suggestions on Crochet For You Facebook page and there were great ideas, too… but… sadly I had a very small amount. I only had one ball left.
So I made this Oval Table Mat. 😀 Like I previously did on Jute Hemp Crochet Coasters, I used yarns to make edging. This time I did the lace edging with picots. 😀 I love the look of this table mat and I wish I had more jute hemp cords to make a set of table mats with the lace edging with picots in different colors.
