Hi everyone! Hope you had a nice weekend. 🙂 Today I’m sharing scarf pattern with you. I named it Angled Mesh Scarf. A quick project with 2 rows repeating. And this is a one skein wonder! 😀

This scarf is approx. 9” wide and 62” long when finished. You can make it wider and longer if you want. See the notes section.
This pattern is great with self-striping yarn. The yarn I used for this scarf is Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable – Stained Glass. Try with the different yarns to get a different look.
Skill level: easy
Finished size: 9″ wide and 62″ long
Materials: #4-Medium / Worsted weight / 100% Acrylic
(I used)
- 1 skein of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable Yarn – Stained Glass
- J-10, 6mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle for weaving ends.
Gauge: 15 sc x 18 rows = 4″ with J-10, 6mm crochet hook.
Abbreviations / stitches (US Term)
- ch – chain
- dc – double crochet
- st – stitch
- sk – skip
- sl st – slip stitch
- ch-sp – chain space
- beg – beginning
- * to – repeat * to ; the instructions
Special stitches
- dc2tog: Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch, yo, pull up loop, yo, pull back through first 2 loops on hook, skip next chain, Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch, yo, pull up loop, yo, pull back through first 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull back through all the loops on hook.
Notes
- Crochet odd number of chains + 4 to get your desired width for the scarf.
- Add more rows to make it longer.
Crochet Angled Mesh Scarf Pattern
Crochet 53 + 4 chains. (crochet odd number of chains + 4 to get your desired width for the scarf)
Row 1: dc in 5th ch from hook (count as a dc and ch 1), *ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next ch; repeat until the last ch 4 remain, (after crocheting last ch 1 in repeat section) sk next ch and crochet dc2tog (see special stitch above), turn.
Row 2: ch 3, *sk next ch-1 sp, dc in next dc, ch 1; repeat until beg ch 4 remain, (after crocheting ch 1 in repeat section in repeat section) sk next ch 1 of beg ch(s), (dc, ch 1, dc) in beg ch 3 top.
Row 3: ch 4 (count as a dc and ch 1), dc in first dc, *ch 1, sk next ch-1 sp, dc in next dc; repeat until last 2 dc remain with beg ch 3 , (after crocheting last ch 1 in repeat section) sk next ch-1 sp, dc2tog (see special stitch above), turn.
Row 4 to 62: repeat rows 2 and 3 continuously.
