Crochet multiple of 3 + 2
Row 1: sc in second ch from the hook, sc in each st across, turn the work.
Row 2: ch 3 (count as st), dc in first st, *sk next 2 sts, 3-dc shell (see special stitches above) in next st; repeat until last 3 sts remain, sk next 2 sts, 2 dc in last st, turn the work.
Row 3: ch 3 (count as st), sk first two sts, 3-dc shell into the first space between shells in the previous row, *sk next shell, 3-dc shell into space between shells in the previous row; repeat until last space, 1 dc in top of the ch 3, turn the work.
Cut the yarn and join new color. How?
Do not finish the last stitch in the previous row. keep 2 loops on the hook. Drop the old color, get the new color yarn and pull a loop through the two loops on the hook. Continue with the new color. 🙂
Row 4: ch 3 (count as st), dc in first st, *sk next shell, 3-dc shell into space between shells in the previous row; repeat until last space, sk last shell, 2 dc in top of the ch 3, turn the work.
Row 5: ch 3 (count as st), sk first two sts, 3-dc shell into the first space between shells in the previous row, *sk next shell, 3-dc shell into space between the previous row; repeat until last space, 1 dc in top of the ch 3, turn the work.
Repeat rows 4 and 5 until you want.
Last row for finishing
ch 1, sc in first st, sc in each st across, Fasten off and weave the ends. That’s all! 🙂
