Skill Level Easy
Materials
- #2-Fine / sport weight yarn in 2 colors (yellow and white). (Approx: 10 yards for each color)
- G-6, 4mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle for weaving ends.
Gauge: Gauge is not very important for this pattern.
Abbreviations
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- sc = single crochet
- tr = treble crochet
- st(s) = stitch(s)
- [ ] work instructions within brackets as many times as directed
Crochet Simple Flower Applique Pattern
With yellow color, make a magic ring.
Round 1: ch 1 (does not count as st), 5 sc into the ring, sl st to the first st. (5 sts)
Round 2: ch 1 (does not count as st), 2sc in each st across, sl st to the first st. (10 sts)
Round 3: Join the pink color, [(ch 4, tr in same st, tr in next st, ch 4, sl st to the same st- made one petal) ch 1, sl st in next st] 5 times. Fasten off and weave the end.
